Super Mario Brothers
Super Mario Brothers was the first of the Mario Games to come to the Nintendo (NES) home entertainment system in 1985. Players could not get enough of the bright colorful
graphics and smooth side scrolling action. The game featured over 20 levels of play containing 4 basic sub levels for each of the 8 main levels an outside level, an underground level, a water or tree level,
and of course the dungeon where King Koopa was waiting.
The Story
Ok so basically the story goes like this. Mario and his brother Luigi were to ordinary plumbers with a love for pasta. One day they were transported to a distant land
ruled by the evil Bowser. Bowser had kidnapped the beautiful princess Toadstool and it is up to Mario to defeat Bowser and rescue the princess restoring peace to the
mushroom kingdom.
Completing the task as you soon learn playing Super Mario Brothers is more difficult than it sounds. The road ahead is full of dangers from bottomless pits, spikes, koopa troopas,
and fire breathing plants it seems everything is out to stop you. But you are not alone in your quest to save the princess as various objects in the mushroom kingdom will grant you super powers
to help you defeat your enemies. Only after a long journey and searching numerous dungeons will you be rewarded with the grand prize, freedom to return home.
